I am sharing something unusual today, do you know what these are ? Banana shaped cakes.  Yes they really are, only in Japan, hahaha.  As I have mentioned in the past I work for a Japanese company and  visitors bring us goodies all the time. This is the first time we have ever been given these cakes. The outside is like sponge cake and the inside is filled with a caramel/banana flavoured creamy substance. They were all individually packed in little banana shaped plastic cotainers and then in plastic wrap.

Oishii, Oishii (yummy in Japanese), I hope we have these again, they are very very delicious.

If you want to see who else is sharing their treasure today pop on over to The House On The Side Of The Hill.  Thank you Mel for hosting Tuesday Treasures.

  1. Very yummy looking indeed. Thanks for playing along.

  2. It's amazing how each country has its own treats. Very interesting Kaylee.

  3. The little cakes look yummy. I love all the different little Japanese cakes.
