We collected our new caravan on 17th November 2016, it's a 17.5ft JAYCO starcraft poptop.  Thefirst trip in it was to Ballina, NSW from 12 - 26th March 2017.  I have quite a few photos here of surrounding areas of Ballina. The first two photos are at our first site where we stayed for 5 nights.

I took along my chicken scratch embroidery, of course.

Celebrating with soome bubbly on our first trip away in our lovely new caravan.

This photo is of our second site, we stayed here for 9 nights.

The first week we were away there was LOTS of rain, we went for a drive to see

                                                                the swell in the ocean.

The next three photos is the view we had from our van at our second site.

In the second week we went for a drive to Lennox Heads, a gorgeous spot, the next two photos are taken from a lookout near Lennox Heads.

These next two photos were taken between Ballina and Lennox Heads.

I went to K-Mart and purchased this great slow cooker for $20, what a bargain and a great asset in the van.  We had a yummy Black Angus Rump and vegetable slow cook meal for dinner one night.

We are heading off again on another little adventure tomorrow for a couple of weeks.  Where you ask, wait for the next post..........

Soooo excited, we are going away with another couple on our next adventure.

Several months ago my Aunty was clearing out her linen cupboard and came across some souvenir linen tea towels, I was very escited when she gave them to me to make some ADF Laundry Bags. They are all from Queensland towns, some of them have little stories about the area as well.  I recently made these seven and have a few more tea towels put away for more bags,  They make great bags and are so colouful.
