SEWING FOLDER

Faeries in My Garden have a monthly project called "Katy's Keepsakes" which runs for 6 months. This is my last project which arrived in the mail this morning. It's so gorgeous, I'm really excited to make this sewing folder as I don't have one. It has been a few years since I stitched Bullion Roses so I will have to do a few practices before stitching this project as I want them to be perfect.

LOVELY CAKES

WOW,  it's almost a month since I last did a BLOG post, where are they weeks going ?  I have been keeping very busy with work, stitching and knitting. I will have to do some BLOG posts on my projects very soon but for now I have something yummy to show you.  As I have mentioned in the past, I work for a Japanese company and we have visitors from Japan regularly and they always bring yummy treats with them. Just look at this lovely tray of gorgeous cup cakes, they are all individually wrapped and they are soooooo yummy.  This is something different, we haven't had these before.  We don't see anything like this in Australia, do we !!

BUTTONS BUTTONS BUTTONS

BUTTONS, BUTTONS, BUTTONS, I love buttons, do you ?  I am starting a project that needs a FEW buttons however I have a very addictive personality and I find it difficult to make one of something or buy one of something.  Once I saw these gorgeous buttons I could not stop at a few packets.  Mind you there were LOTS more I had in my wish list and was very happy with myself for cutting it down to these ones which cost me near to $200 ......   These packets of buttons should do me for quite a while don't you think ! LOL..
I purchased all of these buttons from a lady in the UK

This is a close up of the first two rows (vertical)

This is a close up of the 2nd two rows (vertical)

This is the last row and the loose buttons you see were sent to me free of charge, what a lovely lady.

These buttons were purchased from a lady at Ipswich.

I found all of these buttons on ebay, now I will have to find a large divided container to store them.
