LABNEH CHEESE

Yay I was so excited to arrive home last night to my Labneh cheese, it worked, I was very happy. The yogurt was in the muslin for 3-1/2 days, I am happy to know using the low fat yogurt still works as well as using the full fat yogurt, just leave it longer. This is what it looked like when I unwrapped the muslin.


I brought some in for morning tea and had it on crackers with some sweet chilli sauce. Next time I will add more salt as it still has a yogurt taste. I tend to be heavy handed when using salt so I was very careful and didn't put too much in but next time I will had some more salt.

  1. Woohoo Kaylee it looks delicious. I am going to try it with sweet chilli sauce this time too. I'm so glad it turned out. I found I had to leave mine longer than the 24 hours too. Much nicer texture I think. X

APRONS and SECRET SEWING

Oh gosh this heat we've been having on the East Coast has been terrible.  We put the aircon on in the bedroom at night as it's too ...
