SHABBY ROSES UPDATE

Three more completed blocks of Jennifer Reynolds "Shabby Roses" quilt. I am having such fun stitching these, I love to stitch and it is easy for me to do in the car on the way home from work (not while driving, my husband does the driving) and watching tele.

SHABBY ROSES

FINALLY, I started my "Shabby Roses" quilt over the Easter break. I am so excited as I have wanted to start this for a long time. I am using Robyn Pandolph "Beachouse" fabrics which I love since discovering them recently. I purchased the whole set in Fat Quarters as well as the 5" square pack. I have cut out the 12 blocks and have attached the relevant pieces on each block ready to be appliqued and stitched. TA DA, here is my first block completed.

MY LATEST STITCHERY PROJECT

These little Russian Nesting Dolls are so cute, I found them over at "Four Wise Monkey's" blog, thankyou Rachel for this free pattern. I have enlarged the pattern in a few different sizes, these will make lovely gifts. I traced 7 and have stitched 2-1/1 so far, I will add more photos when they are stuffed and sewn.

FABRIC, FABRIC AND MORE FABRIC

Look what greeted me this morning when I went to the Post Box, ummmm I have been very excited all day looooong. This is the first time I have ordered material over the internet and from ovoerseas (America), I purchased these lovelies from the "Fat Quarter Shop". This is a photo of them all jammed into a bag to take carry home.

I just LOVE these fabrics from Robyn Pandolph "Beach House" collection.

Some more, I went a bit silly I guess, I wanted to make it worth while seeing I was paying the postage from the US.

AND some more.
I also purchased this gorgeous Pincushion pattern.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY "MISS KATE"

WOOHOO today is my gorgeous Kate's 22nd Birthday. I went and had lunch with her and her work mates. Kate and her partner came down to the Tweed last weekend and we took them out to dinner and we gave her a beautiful "daughter" card and some money. I was a surprise at her Birthday lunch today so I went with a bag full of goodies for her to open as well. This is one of the pressies I gave her today - one of the "CHEEKI" dolls, in a earlier post.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL, don't ever lose that gorgeous smile, you are an amazing daughter, I love you further than "to the moon and back"

Love always

CHRISTMAS 2010 STASH

I started these about 4 years ago, I had made the bodies and the wings, so they just needed to be dressed and have a face and some hair. They are now in the pressie box of goodies for friends this Christmas, they are little fairies to hang on the Christmas tree.

FABRICS mmmmmmmmmmmm

Lincraft had a 50% off all fabrics a few weeks back, I came home with these yummy fabrics, I went two days, the first photo are of craft fabrics and the second photo is of dress fabrics. I just wanted some more for my stash although the reds/pinks will be for Rebecca's (youngest daughter) 21st quilt (3 years).

These are so cute, I couldn't resist.
