SHABBY ROSES UPDATE

WOOHOO !!! I have finished the last 3 stitcheries for my "Shabby Roses" quilt, a gorgeous ELEFANTZ design. I finished a week ago and yesterday I started sewing together some of the blocks. It's all starting to look rather nice.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS - OF THE LEAGUE WORLD

WOOHOO WOOHOO !!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAROONS, I am a very proud QUEENSLANDER today, our Rugby League State of Origin between QUEENSLAND and NEW SOUTH WALES third game for this year's series was last night and now our MIGHTY MAROONS have won 5 years consecutively and also won the 3 games this year, a great effort, a fantastic team. Below are photos taken at work yesterday, we take photos every year and I have a QUEENSLAND flag and streamers up at the reception desk.

SHABBY ROSES UPDATE

Two more blocks finished for my Shabby Roses Quilt- "INSPIRE" and "BELIEVE", only 3 to go WOOHOO..... I have completed 2/3 of one of them - "SHABBY". I wasn't happy with the letters on "INSPIRE", I used the "water erasable" pen, washing out and redrawing 3 times HOWEVER when I had finished the whole block which I am very happy with, I noticed there is still some blue on my fabric, I would appreciate some tips to wash it out without ruining my block.
