My bloggy friend Anthea of Hibiscus Stitches had a Birthday in March and we decided at the beginning of the year to have our very own Birthday swap. We decided on what the swap would include, being a handmade item, some fat quarters of choice and a few other items. Anthea requested Kate Spain fabrics so I also made her item from Kate Spain fabrics. I made Anthea a Hussif using Jenny of Elefantz free tutorial from 2015.
Here is the Hussif opened up.
These are the four fat quarters of Kate Spain fabrics.
These are the other items I included in Anthea's Birthday package.
This quilt was made and sent off in February, the recipient has received it and sent me an awesome email of thanks.
I also made this laundry bag for the same recipient.
We have Kate's (our eldest daughter) Wedding next Saturday, we are so excited, it seemed so far away when they set the date but now it's so close. I will be posting lots of photos in the coming weeks.
It's been a couple of months since I blogged about craft, although I haven't blogged about it I have been doing some sewing. These are Blocks 3 through to 14 in the Project 48 Quilt blocks.
