I love it so much when my girls come to visit, the weekend goes way too quickly though. The three of us headed to the shops Saturday morning for a bit of "girls" time. It was quite a full on weekend and I enjoyed every moment of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

It's my Birthday, it's my Birthday, WOOHOO!!! Yes I am at work today, Lemon Meringue for morning tea oishii, oishii ("oishii" means yummy in Japanese), and all my lovely pressies from all the gorgeous ladies I work with.

ANOTHER JESSIE MAY FINISH

A couple of years ago a friend painted a lovely beach scene for our new home, I asked her to paint it for me and I wanted to pay her. I have the painting in the entry to our home, it looks

wonderful and of course she would not accept anything for it so I decided to make her one of the Jessie May pattern dolls. I have had Jessie May finished for sometime however I have misplaced my pattern so was unable to maker her little bear. Thankyou Teresa to my rescue, I have now finished Jessie May as well as her bear. Instead of giving Jessie May (also known as "the button head doll") button hair I have given her rag hair which is a lot less time consuming. She is quite dark and it's a little difficult to see her face in the photo.

TUESDAY TREASURES

My Tuesday Treasure for today is life and keeping healthy, sorry no photos only a story of my "Weight Loss Journey" so far.

My husband and I made the decision "it was time" we both get serious and get rid of the extra fat we have been carrying around, so our weight loss journey started 4 weeks ago this coming Saturday. Our weigh in last Saturday was three weeks down. I have lost 4.5kgs and hubby has lost a whopping 6.4kgs. I have a LOT further to go than he has, hubby wants to lost 13 kgs so he is half way there, me on the other hand has set a goal to lose 25 kgs so I have a LOT further to go. We are eating real food and we are never hungry.

ANOTHER FINISH FOR AUGUST

A gift for a very long time friend for her Birthday on Saturday 3 September. I can BLOG about it as my friend does not have a BLOG. I made this Parisienne toiletry bag from the pattern I made here. I filled it with toiletry goodies and sent it on it's way to Sydney this morning by EXPRESS POST.
