In March of 2008 my Mother in Law, Joan was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, after a massive operation (the cancer was in her stomach, ovaries and bowel) she spent weeks in hospital followed by months of chemo. The two photos below were taken Christmas Day 2008.

In March of 2009 she was told the cancer had spread through her whole body and they once again started chemo every 4 weeks, so she travelled every month by train from Rockhampton to Brisbane as the chemo treatment only had a shelf life of 3 hours so once it was made up she had to have to immediately.
These are photos of family and friends taken at my Daughter's house on 13 June 2010.

Joan was admitted to hospital in Rocky this morning and the Doctor has said she has a few
days at the most. Joan was diagnosed with this cancer at the age of 68 and turned 71 this
July. I really wished she could have been here to see her 3 Grand children marry, all girls,
two are my daughters and we have a niece.
We love you Mum.........
