QUEEN ELIZABETH II VISIT TO BRISBANE

My Tuesday treasure today is to share the photos I took of Her Majesty yesterday.

The Queen visited our beautiful city yesterday, I work at the Riverside Centre in Brisbane CBD, for those of you who don't know the building is actually "riverside", I walked down to the Riverside Centre City Cat Terminal waiting for Her Majesty to arrive AND she was late, late late, there were lots of people along the board walk. This is not the first time I have seen the Queen in our city but I am sure it will be the last. They brought the boat so close to the boardwalk, we all had a lovely view of her.

The Queen is on the top deck wearing the green outfit.

..... and then she was gone, thankyou Queen Elizabeth for visiting and making a memorable day for us.
Pop on over to Mel's and see who else is sharing treasures today.

Cheers

Kaylee

  1. How lovely that you were able to get out there and see the 'royal barge'. Didn't the Queen look terrific - I hope I have her energy when I am her age - and perhaps the staff to do my hair each morning!

  6. One of my son also went to see the Queen. He is studying at QUT and one of the girls dragged him along. What boys will do to impress girls.
